कक्षा ६, ७, ८ र आधारभुत तहको परीक्षाको लागि शारीरिक शिक्षाको महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्नहरु

शारीरिक शिक्षा एक प्राविधिक विषय हो । यो विषय शिक्षणका लागि विषयवस्तु जानेर मात्र हुदैन त्यसलाई शिक्षण गर्ने उपयुक्त कला तथा खेल खेलाउने तरिका समेत थाहा हुनु पर्छ भने आफुले पनि उक्त खेल खेलेको हुनु पर्छ । यो विषय शिक्षण गर्दा सम्वन्धित विषय शिक्षकलाई समेत हम्मे हम्मे पर्छ भने हाम्रा कतिपय विद्यालयमा शारीरिक शिक्षा पढेका शिक्षक साथीहरु नहुन पनि सक्नुहुन्छ । उक्त अवस्थामा यो विषय पढाउन, प्रयोगात्मक अभ्यास गराउन नसकी शैक्षणिक उद्देश्य पुरा नहुन सक्छ । अर्कातिर विद्यार्थी भाइवहिनीहरुलाई परीक्षाको पनि उक्तिकै चिन्ता हुन्छ । शारीरिक शिक्षावाट १० पूर्णाङ्कको सैद्धान्तिक परीक्षा हुन्छ त्यसलाई कसरी हल गर्ने अर्को समस्या आइपर्छ । तसर्थ मैले शिक्षणको क्रममा आधारभुत तहको परीक्षामा हाल सम्म सोधेका शारीरिक शिक्षाको प्रश्नहरुको उत्तर तयार गरेको छु । यसवाट विद्यार्थी भाई वहिनीहरुलाई पक्कै लाभ पुग्ने आशा समेत राखेको छु । अन्य कुनै जिशासा भएमा तलको कमेण्ट वक्समा कमेण्ट गर्नुहोला । 



Unit- 1
Physical Education
1.     What is physical exercise?
Physical exercise can be defined as the activity of the body that helps to maintain the physical well-being of a human.
2.     Why is it essential to do warm-up exercise before the start of the game?
        There are various reasons to do warm-up exercise before the start of the game. Some of them are as follows.
        •      Warm-up exercise helps our body prepare itself for game.
        •      Warm-up exercise reduces the chance of injury.
3.     Write two importance of physical exercise.
        •      Physical exercise controls weight.
        •      Physical exercise can help you to maintain a healthy weight.
        •      Physical exercise improves brain function.
4.     What is warm-up exercise?
Any physical exercise like jogging, running etc. done for bringing the body in ready position for playing games in called warm up exercise.

This command is given to rest the players. It is always given at the attention position. After the group leader orders his members for fall out, the group goes back to rest place turning right and moving one step to the right.

Unit- 4
Yoga
1.     What is Yoga?
Yoga is a system of exercises for our body. It is a kind of technique for controlling our breathing, to become fitter or to relax.
2.     Mention any two advantages of Yoga.
        •      Develops physical strength
        •      Creates mental sharpness
3.     Which part of body is affected by Setubandhasan?
        Waist, chest and are affected by Setubandhasan.
4.     Write down the method of Setubandhasan.
        •      Lie supine on the ground and fold knee and keep feet apart and 10 to 12 inch from pelvis.
        •      Inhale and life your lower back, middle back and upper back slowly on the floor.
5.     Write two importance of Setubandasana.
        •      Strengthen back muscle and relieve back pain.
        •      Beneficial for back pain, asthma, hypertension, sinusitis.
6.     Mention two importance of Surya Namaskarasan?
        •      It provides our body with a complete exercise.
        •      It is more beneficial for circulatory and digestive systems.
7.     Write down the method of Surya Namaskar.
        •   Step 1: Start with standing position, as shown in figure. Keeping palms joined together,
                         in prayer pose, we should exhale air.
            Step 2: With a deep inhalation, raise both arms above your head and tilt slightly
                          backward arching your back.
            Step 3: With a deep exhalation, bend forward and touch the mat, both palms in line
                        with your feet, and touch your knees with forehead.
             Step 4: With a deep inhalation, take your right leg away from your body, in a big
                         backward step. Both your hands should be firmly planted on your mat, your
                         left foot between your hands and your head tilted towards the ceiling.  
            Step 5: With a deep exhalation, shove your hips and butt up towards the ceiling,
                         forming an upward arch. Your arms should be straight and aligned with your
                        head as shown in the figure.
           Step 6: With a deep exhalation, lower your body down till your forehead, chest,
                       knees, hands and feet touch the mat, your butt tilted up. Take a normal breath
                      in this pose.
           Step 7: With a deep inhalation, slowly snake forward till your head is up, your
                      back arched concave as much as possible shown in the figure.
           Step 8: Exhaling deeply, again push your butt and hips up towards the ceiling as
                       in position 6 and your arms aligned straight with your head.
           Step 9: Inhaling deeply, bring your right foot towards your body, in a big forward
                     step. Both your hands should be planted firmly on your mat and the right
                     foot between your hands. At the same time, head must be tilted towards
                      the ceiling.
         Step 10: Exhaling deeply, rise up and touch the mat, keeping both your palms in
                       line with your feet and forehead touching your knees.
          Step 11: Inhaling deeply, raise both your arms above your head and tilt slightly
                        backward.
          Steps 12: Return to standing position facing the sun, touch both feet, join palms
t                        ogether in the prayer pose.

        •      Advantageous for spinal injuries
        •      Advantageous for people of lungs disorder.
9.     Write down the method of Makarasan.
        •      Lie down facing downwards and place the palm on your shoulder in a relaxed way and keep your eyes closed.
        •      Relax the whole body. Breath slowly slowly and regularly.
10.  Mention two importance of Halasan.
        •      It is very good for muscle strengthening and weight loss.
        •      It is a good pose for digestive problem as well.
11.  Write the step of Halasan.
        •      Lie supine on the ground and relax whole body & keep palm flat on the ground with normal breath.
        •      Raise both legs up straight, bend back to rotate the leg towards the head.
12.  Mention two importance of Bhastrikaasan.
        •      Increases the strength of lungs
        •      Relieves respiratory problem like asthma, tonsillitis
13.  Write the step of Bhastrikaasan.
        •      Sit on the padmasana and inhale to fill lungs with air in 2.5 sec.
        •      Exhale the air after about 2.5 sec and gap between inhale and exhale must be 2.5 sec.
14.  Mention two importance of Kapalvati.
        •      It helps to improve respiratory activity and strength of lungs.
        •      It helps to ensure proper oxygen circulation.
15.  Write down the method of Kapalvati.
        •      Sit straight, spine erect and cress the legs in front.
        •      Take a deep breath and exhale quickly and suddenly with a puffing sound.
16.  Mention two importance of AnulomBilom.
        •      Relieves respiratory tract problems like sinusitis, asthma.
        •      It is very effective for weight loss.
17.  Write down the method of 'Anulombilom'.
        •      Sit straight erect and cross the legs in front.
        •      Close your right nostril with your right thumb and breathe in for a couple of seconds through left nostril.
        •      Hold the breath for a couple of second. Breath out through right nostril. Now, close the left nostril with the left thumb and breathe in through right nostril.

19.  What is asan?
Asan refers to posture while performing yoga. Example: Padmasan, Siddasan, Lotus asan, etc.
20.  What do you mean by Pranayama?
Pranayam refers to control the speed of respiration in each asans. Pranayam is done in the following there ways.

Unit- 5
Game
A: Volleyball Game
1.     Write down any four basic skills of volley ball game?

        Overhead Service
The ball is held directly in front of the hitting arm just above shoulder height is called overhead service.
        Underhand Service
An underhand service is a type of volleyball serve in which a player holds the ball with one hand and swings the other hand in an arc motion, striking under the ball with a fist to put it into play.
4.     What is 'setting' in volley ball?
Setting is the skill to raise  the ball near the net for spiking. The raiser raise the ball as per each of the spikers.
5.     Write two things to be considered while doing over head service.
        •      Do not touch the end line while servicing.
        •      The service will be considered as a correct one when the ball passes over the net and between the two poles of the net.

The importance of setting in volleyball game is the raiser raise the ball as per each of the spikers for spiking.
8.     What is 'Spiking' in volley ball?
Spiking is the skill to dodge the ball in the opponent court. The setter raises the ball so high that the spiker jumps high with proper take off to hit the ball.

B: Football Game
1.     Write any four basic skills of football game.

        @    Every team contains eleven players in which one of them is the goal keeper.

        @    Duration of the game shall be of two equal periods of 45 minutes. At half time, the interval shall not exceed 5 minutes.
3.     At which situation "off-side" is given in the football.

C: Basketball Game

        @    A goal from the field without violating any rule counts 2 points unless attempted from beyond the 3 point line when it counts from 3 points, a goal from a free throw counts 1 point.
        @    After a basket is scored, the game continues by throwing the ball from the end line of the court by defenders.
        @    If the ball goes out of bound from the ground, the opposite team is awarded to pass the ball from the side-line.
        @    A player cannot walk more than two steps after he holds the ball.

        Bounce pass is a type of pass in basketball sport where the ball hits the ground and bounces back up into someone hands.
5.     How is basketball played?
Basketball is an interesting team game played between two teams. Each  team consists of five players. A blackboard is placed in a certain height. Each team tries to pass the ball and score in the opponents' backboard. The duration of play for juniors is two halves of 15 minutes with an interval of 10 minutes. The team who scores more points within this period of time is declared the winner.
6.     How is 'pass' done in basketball? Write any two types of pass.

D: Dodge ball Game
1.     How is Dodge ball played?
Dodgeball is a group game which develops the ability of catching, throwing and coordination skills in players. It can be played in different variation. It is played in a fixed area measuring about 10mХ 20m. The court is divided into two halves. It is played between the two team having 8-12 playersin each. the players ofeach team are divided as court and line players. The court players take their positions in their respective courts whereas the line players stand on the opposite end, adjacent to the opponents' court where a rectangular lobby is marked. The object of the game is to hit the players with the ball, without them catching it cleanly. If it is caught cleanly without dropping it on the floor, then they will have advantage of keeping the ball and try to hit out the opposition.
2.     Write any two rules of dodge ball.
        @    The turn of hit is decided by a toss.
        @    The winner of the toss is given the ball in signal of the referee, the team can either hit the opponents or pass the ball among their team mates.
        @    Players cannot cross any lines while passing and hitting. If they do so the ball goes to the next team.
        @    Only direct hit is valid to make the opponent without them catching it cleanly. Otherwise, an indirect ball can be caught by the opponent to pass with their team mates.
        @    The game continues up to 10 minutes and the team which scores more will win the game.

E: Port Ball
1.     How is port ball played?
Port ball is the primary game to learn the skills of basket ball. Port ball needs 6 players in each team. One of them.Stands on the chair in the opponent court.The playground is divided into two halves by a centre line. The team that wins the toss selects the side of the court. The teacher gives the jump ball at the centre. The player can dribble or pass the ball but cannot hold it long. Players of both teams try to dribble, pass advance the ball with a view to passing it to their player standing on the chair in opponent's court. If a team passes the ball to the player standing on the chair, a point is scored against their opponent.

G: Kho-Kho

        @    Chaser must sit in the regular distance.

The game continues up to 9:5:9 + 5+ 9:5:9 minutes and the team which scores more will win the game.


H: Cricket
1.     Write any four rules of Cricket.
        @    In the beginning, there is an official toss of a coin between the captains of two teams in front of an umpire.
        @    Cricket is played by 11 players in each team.
        @    Cricket has two innings. Each team bowls and bats in limited overs.
        @    There are six balls in each over, and each bowler bowls one over at once.

Athletics
1.     What is Athletics?
Athletics is a sport event that included walking, jumping, running, throwing, etc.
2.     Give two importance of Athletics?
        @    It provides physical strength.
        @    It makes the body balanced.             
3.     Why is Athletics called as Track and field activity?
Athletics is called as Track and field activity because walking and running events are performed in track and throwing and jumping events are performed in field.
4.     What is long distance running?
A race which cannot be completed within a short period of time is known as long-distance running. Long distance running in athletics is races longing from 3000 m through 10,000m, 20000m and up to the marathon (42KM).
5.     What is meant by relay race?
A relay race is a track and field event in which athletes run a pre-set distance carrying a baton before passing in into the next runner. Often, a relay team is a team of our four sprinters (runner).
6.     How is '4Х100' relay race played?
4 Х 100 m relay race is played in a group of 4 players each. 4 Х 100 m relay race is played on a track divided into 4 equal 100 m distance. Each player runs approximately 100 m with a baton in his hand. When the first runner completes his distance with baton, he passes his baton to his second runner. The second runner runs and passes the baton to the third runner. Finally, the fourth runner runs and completes the race.
7.     What is 'Baton'?
Baton is a piece of plastic pipe like a scale used in relay running.
